FIELD: turbines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a birotational turbine (C) with opposite rotation of the shafts of a gas turbine engine (10), passing along the axis rotation (X) and including an internal rotor (22) rotating around the axis rotation (X) and at least one internal working a blade (220) mounted for rotation on the first shaft (26), an outer rotor (20) rotating around the axis rotation (X) in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the inner rotor (22), and comprising at least one outer working blade (200) rotatably mounted on a second shaft (24) coaxial to the first shaft (26), with the first and second shafts (24, 26) extending axially from inlet to outlet relative to the flow of the turbine, wherein the first shaft (26) is guided during rotation by the first bearing (62) located between the first shaft and the turbine housing (60) located upstream, and the second shaft (24) is guided during rotation by the second bearing (72) located between the second shaft (24) and said upstream turbine housing (60). Moreover, the outer casing (50) extends in the axial direction from the upstream end of the turbine (C) to a length of less than 50%, preferably less than 30%, more preferably less than 15% of the length of the turbine (C).
EFFECT: easy to install a cooling device for directly cooling the downstream portion and to install measuring instruments such as endoscopes.
