FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the completion and repair of oil and gas wells. Composition for the preparation of a heavy process fluid with a density of 1.32 g/cm3 to 1.82 g/cm3 at 20°C for killing wells includes wt.%: calcium chloride 26.4-29.9; zinc chloride 63.3-67.2; corrosion inhibitor 5.3-10.2. Heavy process fluid for killing wells is an aqueous solution with a density of 1.32 g/cm3 to 1.82 g/cm3 at 20°C, including, wt.%: calcium chloride 20.5-22.5; zinc chloride 48.9-50.2; corrosion inhibitor 4.0-8.0; the rest is water.
EFFECT: ensuring simultaneously low values of corrosion rate (up to 0.538 mm/year) and low freezing temperature (below minus 35°C) of heavy process fluid, its cryostability, compatibility with formation waters, expansion of the range of change in the density of the specified fluid, as well as ease of manufacture.
