FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrode paste for electrophysiological studies and a method of its production. The electrode paste for electrophysiological studies has the following composition: 3.2–4.4 wt.% of sodium carboxymethylcellulose; 32.1–33.0 wt.% of glycerin; 22.0–24.1 wt.% of fructose; 4.8–5.5 wt.% of sodium chloride; 4.8–5.5 wt.% of potassium chloride; 2.0–2.1 wt.% of aerosil; 27.5–28.9 wt.% of purified water. A method of obtaining the above electrode paste for conducting electrophysiological studies by heating, dissolving and mixing the components, while glycerin is added to sodium carboxymethylcellulose and stirred until homogeneous, when heated in purified water, fructose, sodium chloride and potassium chloride are successively dissolved, the resulting solution is stirred until thickening with the addition of aerosil is proposed. The above described electrode paste has reduced allergenicity, high electrical conductivity, reliable fixing ability, and low consumption during use.
EFFECT: electrode paste allows to conduct various electrophysiological studies with a high-quality signal, including in people with sensitive skin.
