SUBSTANCE: protection of crops such as fruit trees. Method for treatment of agricultural crops involves foliar application of solid calcium fertilizer containing more than 98.5 wt.% calcium carbonate dispersed in an aqueous suspension with a concentration of 1 to 12 wt.%, by microspraying with the formation of a homogeneous layer of solid fertilizer on the surface of crops. Under high humidity conditions, the chemical composition of a homogeneous layer of solid fertilizer contains the following ionic particles: Ca²⁺, CO₃^2- CaOH⁺, CO₃H^- and CO₃CaOH ^- that provides the amount of biologically available calcium in the range from 62 to 132 ppm. The method of treating crops with solid calcium fertilizer is carried out for feeding, protecting crops and/or protecting them from agricultural pests.

EFFECT: significant increase in the yield of crops, improved quality of the crops, and effective protection against agricultural pests.
