FIELD: aviation technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the determination of imbalances in the weight and aerodynamic rotors of rotary-wing aircrafts. The rotary-wing aircraft is equipped with a system of on-board measurements and registration of loads at characteristic cross-sectional locations of each blade and rotor hub. The loads acting on each blade and/or each sleeve of the rotor hub are measured and recorded by performing strain gauge measurements of characteristic and identical structural locations on the side of each blade in flight. The obtained records are compared and the support system is adjusted until the average per revolution and amplitude values of the loads transmitted to the main rotor hub are equal on all blades. Additionally, the hinge moments are measured on the side of each blade by performing strain gauges on the rotating controls and the forces on the supporting fuselage are measured during the passage of each blade by strain measurement of the fuselage.

EFFECT: this improves the accuracy of determining the presence of individual differences in blades and adjustment, which objectively ensures the minimum value of the level of vibrations and loads in flight.
