FIELD: grinders.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for grinding mineral raw materials and semi-finished products, mainly having a layered structure. The grinding device can be used in chemical and other industries. The drum rod mill comprises a rotating drum 1, grinding rods 2, hollow pins 3 and 4. At the outlet end of the cylindrical part of the drum 1 there are discharge holes 5. Grinding rods 2 are mounted at both ends on external hinged supports 6 with the help of a rod 7. The upper end of the rod is connected to the support 6 and is threaded. A cylindrical spring, a centring washer, an adjusting nut and a lock nut are installed on the rod 7. The lower end of the cylindrical spring is fixed on the grinding rod 2, and the upper end rests on the centring washer. The lower end of the rod 6 freely enters the hole at the end of the grinding rod 2.
EFFECT: grinding of the material mainly due to shear effects and adjusting the force of the grinding rods on the material in the drum.
