FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a socket outlet with a grounding contact. A plug socket with a grounding contact is proposed, which includes a base having two plug sockets located at a distance, between which a central channel is located in the middle, as well as a plug socket cup into which a cover can be pushed. A screw is provided to secure the plug socket cup to the base. In this case, the central channel is made in the form of a central channel for a screw, and the cover has a mounting means that axially coincides with the channel for the screw in the direction of insertion, providing the possibility of fastening the socket cup to the base with a screw.
EFFECT: increased protection against contamination of the plug socket, simplification of its installation.
