SUBSTANCE: design of coulters for cultivator drills, intended for subsoil broad-strip sowing of cereals, leguminous crops, grasses and grass mixtures with the simultaneous application of granular fertilizers. The coulter for subsoil broad-strip sowing includes a center hoe with a shoe rigidly attached to it in the sub-shape space and a seed duct fixed on a stand. The design feature of the coulter is that it includes a soil smoother, which is made in the form of a sealing plate, bent in the longitudinal plane with the formation of the front, middle and rear parts, equipped with sidewalls and fixed in the sub-shape space with the possibility of compacting the soil and uniform distribution of seeds along the compacted seedbed. The soil smoother has a simple design adapted to the coulter.

EFFECT: increasing the yield of sown crops.
