FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: implantable pressure sensor, system and method for measuring pressure. The sensor contains a closed chamber, the first and second permanent magnets. The chamber contains a membrane. The magnets are located inside the chamber. The first magnet is connected to the membrane. One of the magnets is inserted inside a chamber surrounded by space so that it vibrates in space without frictional contact with the surface. The second magnet is connected to the chamber by means of a rigid connection. The first magnet is connected to the membrane through an elongated element. The element is installed to allow rotation of the first permanent magnet and is made in the form of a wire or thread in such a way that the wire or thread is held taut between two magnets due to the magnetic force of attraction, ensuring a fixed distance between the membrane and the second permanent magnet. The pressure measurement system includes a pressure sensor and a drive coil arrangement for wirelessly inducing resonant rotational oscillations of permanent magnets by generating a magnetic field. In another embodiment, the system includes a catheter or guidewire. When performing the method, an arrangement of excitation coils is used to wirelessly excite resonant oscillations of the pressure sensor. The magnetic field is measured, which is changed by resonant oscillations. The pressure is determined by the frequency of change of the measured magnetic field.
EFFECT: providing the wireless implantable pressure sensor configured to be located on a catheter or guidewire.
