FIELD: system for distributing fertilizers.
SUBSTANCE: system for dispensing crop-improving agricultural products comprises an agricultural product dosing system operatively connected to sources of crop-improving agricultural products, and tubes for an agricultural product operatively connected to said agricultural product dosing system, a seed sensor configured to detect placement seeds from the seeder, and a pulse system operatively connected to the output ends of the agricultural product tubes and to said seed sensor and configured to synchronize the placement of agricultural products with respect to the placement of seeds, wherein said agricultural product dosing system is configured to dispense at a low rate, defined as less than 3.7 fl oz per 1,000 row feet of liquid crop improvement products. Moreover, each agricultural product application device 14 may comprise a common housing for agricultural product supply units, wherein the first of the agricultural product supply units is an agricultural liquid product supply unit 21 including a liquid agricultural product supply line, and the second of the mentioned agricultural product supply units is a dry bulk agricultural product supply unit 20, including a dry bulk agricultural product supply line. Also, the system for dispensing crop enhancement products with seeds may include product containers 130, 131 containing crop enhancement products, including dry and liquid crop enhancement products. Each of said planters may include a main controller, a power distribution board operatively connected to the main controller and a secondary power source, and secondary controllers for operating the metering device 132, each secondary controller receiving command data from the main controller through said power distribution board and controls dispensing devices in response to said command data.
EFFECT: system for dispensing crop-improving products provides the ability to distribute dry and liquid fertilizers.
