SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a mouthpiece for an article for use in an aerosol supply system. The mouthpiece contains a portion having a longitudinal axis and a cross-sectional area measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Said portion contains fibrous material having a denier value per thread from 13.1 to 14.9 g/9000 m and a total denier value per mm2 of said cross-sectional area from 475 to 900 g/9000 m.

EFFECT: invention allows low total denier values in combination with a higher filament denier to result in a lower pressure drop than with binders having lower per filament denier values but similar total denier, while maintaining a good level of hardness.
