SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for diagnosing the condition of the stator winding, in particular for searching for a damaged section. To diagnose the condition of the stator winding, the electric machine is equipped with a ring measuring transducer with a reacting element connected to it. The unit for diagnosing the condition of the stator winding in a disassembled electric machine is additionally equipped with an electromagnetic inductor in the form of a U-shaped magnetic circuit with a winding connected to an alternating current source, the legs of which, during diagnostics, are alternately installed on all the teeth of the stator magnetic circuit. A voltmeter is used as a reacting element.

EFFECT: enhancement of functionality.
