FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: seismic source contains one-piece housing (1), pressure transducer (5) with piston (6) and oil-filled container (7), and power supply cable (16). At the ends of housing (1), there are mounted power elements (2) with orthogonally movable punches (3) with linings (4). Oil-filled container (7) is connected through pipes (8) to elastic chambers (9) of power elements (2). Housing (1) is equipped with at least one unbalanced vibrator (10) mounted on base (11). Base (11) is a sector of a hollow cylinder rigidly fixed to linings (4) of movable punches (3) of power elements (2) located in the same vertical plane. In this case, base (11) is mounted on the outer surface of housing (1) parallel to its longitudinal axis.
EFFECT: increased area of influence on oil reservoirs due to increased area of contact of the seismic source with the well casing.
