FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: circuit breaker actuator contains: a pair of side plates facing each other; a cam assembly and an energy storage lever assembly that are rotatably installed between a pair of side plates; and a spring assembly located between a pair of side plates. The cam assembly contains a group of cam plates and a cam shaft. The cam shaft is rotatably positioned between a pair of side plates. A group of cam plates is secured to the cam shaft. The cam assembly further includes an impact element that rotates synchronously with the group of cam plates; the energy storage lever assembly is provided with an impact member, and during execution of the energy releasing process, the spring assembly rotates the cam assembly and causes the energy storage lever assembly to rotate; and when the cam assembly is rotated, the impact member rotates and strikes the impacted member, and the impactor applies torque to the impacted member in a direction corresponding to the rotation direction of the lever assembly to store energy during the closing process.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of energy use in the actuator by preventing excessive rotation of the cam assembly, as well as ability to transfer the energy generated when rotating the cam assembly to the lever assembly for energy storage.
