FIELD: antenna technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for compensating the mutual influence of vibrators of a ring antenna array is based on the amplitude-phase correction of received signals using predetermined coefficients of the mutual influence of the vibrators. The coefficients of mutual influence of the vibrators are preliminarily determined by receiving a signal from a reference transmitter installed in the far zone using a ring antenna array, measuring the complex voltages of the received signals and based on the results of evaluation measurements, and storing them. Additionally, the inverse matrix of the coefficients of mutual influence is multiplied by the vector of electromotive forces supplied to vibrators, in the receiving mode, the load resistance of the vibrators is set equal to the internal resistance of the sources of electromotive forces in the transmitting mode.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of compensation by eliminating current distortions in antennas in transmission mode and determining mutual influence coefficients from signals received by the antenna array under real operating conditions.
