FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment, such as in particular sockets or electrical switches, and more specifically to equipment that includes an electrical box having a housing containing a rear part having a bottom wall equipped with a means of fastening on a receiving support, and a side wall framing the indicated bottom wall. In this case, the side wall has a front edge, with which the rear edge of the side wall of the front part is connected so that the side wall of the said front part is located in the continuation of the side wall of the said rear part, forming with it a side wall of the housing, which limits the receiving socket, configured to accommodate it contains the mechanism of electrical equipment. In the receiving socket of the device, there is an electrical equipment mechanism that has access holes to the electrical connection terminals. In this case, a part of the specified front edge of the side wall of the rear part, which runs along the specified rear edge of the front part, is at certain height (H1) in relation to the bottom wall with an indentation of minimum distance (d) from the specified access holes.
EFFECT: simplified access to the holes of the electrical connection terminals, since the height of the side wall of the rear part is determined in such a way that these holes are located at a height indent from this side wall, which facilitates the electrical connection of the equipment mechanism.
