FIELD: modular furniture.

SUBSTANCE: furniture module is formed by two opposing structural elements, as well as an upper part and a lower part installed at opposite ends of the structural elements, whereby the module forms a load-bearing structure. The opposite structural elements, as well as the upper and lower parts, are made with mounting holes located at the same distance from each other and intended for attaching additional elements. The oppositely located structural elements, as well as the upper and lower parts of the module, are basic elements made in the form of frames. The mounting holes are made through and are located evenly in the plane of the frame along the perimeter at the same distance from its edges. There are additional through mounting holes located in the corners of the frame and located at the intersection points of the lines of the main mounting holes. Two frames located opposite each other are equipped with mounting holes located in the plane of the frame at a certain distance from its edge, equal to half its thickness. The other two frames also located opposite each other are also equipped with mounting holes located at two opposite ends in the centre of the frame wall thickness, and these mounting holes are configured to mate with the mounting holes of the first two frames.

EFFECT: creating universal and unified lightweight and simplified furniture modules for use in the production of furniture and interior items.
