SUBSTANCE: method of operation and design of steam and gas generators. The steam and gas generator contains a fuel-cooled combustion chamber for fuel components, a mixing head, including a housing, at the ends of which the upper and lower bottoms are fixed, an intermediate bottom located between the housing and the lower bottom, an oxidizer manifold mounted on the housing, and coaxial coaxial jet nozzles, evenly spaced around the circumference and including a tip connected to the oxidizer cavity, a sleeve installed with an annular gap on the tip and connected to the fuel cavity using radial holes made on its cylindrical surface. A ballasting component nozzle is installed inside the tip, made in the form of a tube, plugged in the outlet part located in the combustion chamber. Radial holes are made on the cylindrical surface of the nozzle in the plugged outlet part. The cavity of the combustion chamber cooling path is connected to the fuel cavity of the mixing head.
