FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: frame of a three-axle all-terrain vehicle is a welded spatial structure made of beams of various profiles. The frame is made of two parts connected by rubber-metal hinges, consisting of metal hexagonal pins and rubber-metal bushings with an internal hexagonal surface, pressed into the eyes of the side members, which allows mutual angular movement of the front and rear parts of the frame in the longitudinal-vertical plane relative to axis passing through the hinges. The bushings are tightened using fingers with threads at the ends and self-locking nuts and pressed into the eyes of the side members of the two parts of the frame in such a way and with such an initial angle relative to each other that in a static position under the own weight of the all-terrain vehicle, all frame side members are in the same horizontal plane.
EFFECT: increase in the cross-country ability of an all-terrain vehicle is achieved.
