FIELD: oil and gas industry; mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: design and method of producing rods that are used to drive pumps located in a well. A hybrid composite rod consists of continuous low-modulus and high-modulus fibres in the body of the rod, assembled into a single rod with a thermosetting binder, content 28-32%, with a relative volume content of high-modulus fibres - 38-55% of the volume of the composite rod. The content of low-modulus fibres in the composite rod gradually increases, and the content of high-modulus fibres gradually decreases from the core to the surface. The thermosetting binder uses two or three types of epoxy binders with different elastic modulus, two types of high modulus fibre and two types of low modulus fibre.
EFFECT: increased elastic modulus and tensile strength of the composite body of the rod and the possibility of their regulation.
