A chondroprotective agent that contains glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, undenatured type II collagen and excipients as active components in the following ratio of active ingredients per 1 powder sachet: 1,200–1,800 mg of glucosamine sulfate, 960–1,440 mg of chondroitin sulfate, 40–48 mg of undenatured type II collagen. A method to provide chondroprotective effects on the human musculoskeletal system, including the administration of the above-described agent in the amount of 1 powder sachet once a day for a total course of 6–8 weeks.

EFFECT: above-described group of inventions expands the range of chondroprotective agents, the product has an optimized composition of active components, is characterized by increased efficiency of chondroprotective action, while the chemical load on the patient’s body is reduced; the required number of doses per day has been reduced.
