SELF-PROPELLED ASSEMBLY MODEL WITH SPRING MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A63H17/26 A63H29/06

Abstract RU 2814876 C1

FIELD: toys.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to functional sets for different age groups, assembled using connecting, non-glued elements, intended for assembling a self-propelled vehicle, and used as a construction game. The technical solution proposed in this application is aimed at overcoming the technical shortcomings of the previous level of technology and creating a prefabricated mechanical model that allows assembly from forming elements without the use of tools, glue, independent of power sources, and does not contain materials that become unusable under prolonged heat and exposure ultraviolet radiation, driven by a propulsion device, the cocking of which requires a minimum amount of time and is capable of covering a distance no less than that of rubber-motor analogues, containing a release lever, while this prefabricated model can be made of environmentally friendly materials, including sheet materials, for example wood or plywood, and have small dimensions when disassembled, and also allows you to repeatedly restart the product in one direction or shuttle back and forth when switching the direction of movement at the end of each cycle without lifting the product from the surface of movement (rails, floor, table, etc.) for cocking the mechanism. To solve the problem and achieve a technical result, a prefabricated mechanical model was created, consisting of formative elements of the vehicle, while the assembly units are assembled from parts made of sheet material (wood, plywood, plastic, PVC, plexiglass, metal) and providing the possibility of mutual fastening by means of protrusions on some and sockets corresponding to the protrusions of the form on others, without the use of tools and glue, made self-propelled and containing a spring mechanism, a gear rack, toothed wheels and gears, characterized in that it contains a release lever. A gear rack, toothed wheels and gears are made of the same sheet material as the assembly units, while in the assembled mechanical model they are located inside its body and, when the release lever is activated, they rotate the drive wheels, ensuring the movement of the assembled mechanical model. The specified mechanical model may differ in that the assemblies, trigger lever, flat spring, rack, toothed wheels and gears are made of wood or plywood. In addition, the specified prefabricated mechanical model may be characterized in that it contains a second spring mechanism, a second rack and gears, driven when the first spring mechanism returns to its original position, which increases the distance covered. Also, the specified prefabricated mechanical model may differ in that the gear racks are made in such a way that in the extreme position they come out of the engagement with the gears, thus removing the force of holding the engagement of the gears, which, in turn, leads to the disengagement of the gears and provides additional movement products by inertia, increasing the total distance covered and allows the mechanism to be cocked without transmitting rotation to the wheels, and accordingly without the need to lift the product from the moving surface (rails, floor, table, etc.) to cock the mechanism, which allows you to repeatedly restart the product in one direction or shuttle back and forth when switching direction of movement at the end of each cycle. In addition, the specified prefabricated mechanical model may differ in that it contains a shift frame that moves inside the housing and changes the position of gears and gears to change the direction of rotation of the drive wheels.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and durability of the design of a prefabricated mechanical model, providing the ability to assemble from forming elements without the use of tools, glue, independence from power sources, increasing the convenience and safety of actuation, reducing the time of platooning the propulsion, increasing the distances overcome by the prefabricated mechanical model, as well as the possibility of manufacturing device elements, with the exception of drive springs, from sheet materials, including wood or plywood, increasing the environmental friendliness of the device and reducing the dimensions of the assembled mechanical model in disassembled form, and also allowing to repeatedly restart the product in one direction or shuttle forward and back when switching the direction of movement at the end of each cycle without lifting the product from the movement surface (rails, floor, table, etc.) to cock the mechanism.
