FIELD: shaving devices.

SUBSTANCE: razor cartridge contains a body and cutting elements. The cutting elements include a blade holder having a blade mounting portion and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting elements are designed in such a way that, when in use, the total number of contact areas of the cutting elements with the user's skin along the transverse axis of contact of the cutting element is at least one more than the total number of cutting elements, and at least one less than twice the total number of cutting elements. The cutting elements comprise a first group of cutting elements of the first type which, when in use, have two contact areas with the user's skin along a transverse contact axis of the cutting element. The first type of cutting member includes a first blade holder having the first blade mounting portion located on an inner surface of the first blade holder that faces away from the shaving plane in use, and the first blade attached to the first blade mounting portion. The invention also includes a method for manufacturing a razor cartridge, a shaving unit and a shaving kit.
