SUBSTANCE: method relates to steganographic data conversion. Result is achieved by modifying the least significant bits of the covering object, which are bits of the least significant bits of the binary representation of the covering object samples, to form a steganographic container, a value is embedded in the least significant bit of the covering object, which is the result of the exclusive OR function applied to the message bit and a bit selected according to a given algorithm from the most significant bits of the binary representation of the sample of the covering object, where all bits except the least significant one are related to the most significant bits.

EFFECT: increased security of transmitted information using the least significant bits method.
