FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely to equipment used in preservation of food products by their thermal sterilization in glass jars with rolling metal lids in tightly closed vessels of steam-and-water autoclaves. Disclosed system consists of two fixing elements mounted on the neck of a sealed glass jar. Lower fixing element has two protrusions located at an angle relative to each other and perpendicular to the main plane. In the projections there are through windows-lugs, which allow the fixator to catch on the rim of the neck of the glass jar with the rolling metal cover installed on the rim. Upper fixing element, in its turn, has one protrusion similar to the lower fixator on one side and a latch-tongue, which enables to catch the lower fixture, on the other. All elements are made of metal.

EFFECT: improving reliability and safety of equipment intended for protection against breakage of rolling metal lids of glass jars during preservation in a steam-water home autoclave.
