SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sewing machine (1), having sewing tools (6), including needle (7) for upper thread (8) and looper (9), wherein needle (7) is curved and is made with possibility to rotate around axis of rotation (10) so that distance (A), on which curved needle (7) is spaced from axis of rotation (10), is equal to radius (r) of curvature of curved needle (7) around its axis of rotation (10), looper (9) is configured to rotate around axis of rotation (15) and has lower thread reserve source (16), axis of rotation (15) of the looper extends parallel to support area (11) for the material to be sewn, wherein support area (11) for the material to be sewn includes needle plate (12), which determines the position of the material to be sewn (4) relative to sewing tools (6) during butt-stitching, wherein the location of support area (11) for the material to be sewn relative to trajectory (13) of curved needle (7) is such that during the suturing process curved needle (7) along trajectory (13) penetrates into the material to be sewn (4) from side (14) cross-linked material and again came out of cross-linked material (4) on same side (14), machine has such a design that it provides butt-stitching of material using single-sided double lock stitch, equipped with belt drive (18) for driving of curved needle (7) and looper (9).

EFFECT: invention provides improvement of sewing machine for production of strong seam.
