FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring complexes and systems of aircraft (AC). Meter comprises two similar self-contained sets built into aircraft crew equipment (pilot, navigator). Each set includes satellite navigation, radio communication, display and computation modules arranged in the shoulder and waist parts of the transport vest and on the hip (display module) of the crew member. Heading angle defined as angle between longitudinal axis of aircraft and geographical meridian is calculated by relative (difference) coordinates of shoulder-mounted modules of satellite navigation taking into account in-cabin seating of crew. Absolute coordinates of modules are exchanged between sets of radio communication modules in opposite data transmission mode.
EFFECT: invention enables to ensure rational composition, compatibility with crew equipment and high reliability of the course meter and thereby increase the combat effectiveness of the aircraft equipped with the meter.
