FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of minerals and can be used in gravity dressing of technogenic gold-bearing formations with thin gold. Method involves sand washing, their disintegration at sluices, sand classification with extraction of waste product and fine material containing gold, further dressing of fine material containing gold. Waste product is directed into settling tank with melt of alloy 30.6 wt.% Pb, 51.2 wt.% Sn, 18.2 wt.% Cd and uniformly distributed on its surface with layer thickness not more than the size of the largest particle of the waste product, settling the waste product in a settling tank during the time of deposition of gold particles. Deposit of gold particles and residual tailings of the waste product are separated from the said alloy melt.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase efficiency of gravity dressing process.
