FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminum alloys of the Al-Mg system, which can be used to produce semi-finished products and articles of complex shape in various industries by superplastic molding. Alloy with heterogeneous structure of Al-Mg system for high-speed superplastic forming contains, wt.%: Mg 4.5–5.5, Zn 0.4–1.3, Ni 0.6–1.2, Fe 0.6–1.2, Zr 0.1–0.3, Sc 0.03–0.3, Al and impurity elements in amount of not more than 0.2—balance. After deformation, the alloy has a heterogeneous structure with particles of eutectic origin with volume fraction of 4–6% and size of 0.5–2 mcm and coherent dispersoids Al3(Sc,Zr) with size in range from 10 to 20 nm with Ll2 type phase structure, released during homogenisation annealing.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high strength properties of alloy with preservation of high plasticity characteristics.
