SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of processing vanadium compounds and can be used to produce vanadium pentoxide from industrial products, such as industrial ammonium polyvanadate and metavanadate. Method includes processing vanadium-containing industrial products with an alkaline reagent, separating the insoluble residue from the sodium metavanadate solution, washing the residue, combination of filtrate and washing water, introduction of ammonium-containing inorganic compound into combined solution, extraction from solution and crystallisation of ammonium metavanadate, filtering the suspension with separation of the precipitate from the mother solution, washing the precipitate, which is then treated with an ammonia solution to obtain a suspension. Suspension is filtered, the precipitate is separated, and the obtained ammonia solution is subjected to repeated crystallisation of ammonium metavanadate, after which the suspension is filtered with separation of the precipitate from the mother solution, the precipitate is washed, dried and calcined to obtain the target product. After crystallization and recrystallization of ammonium metavanadate mother solutions are directed for sorption additional extraction of vanadium, after that, the saturated sorbent is washed and desorbed, which is again supplied for sorption additional extraction, and the strippant and washing water are returned to the alkaline treatment stage.

EFFECT: obtaining vanadium pentoxide of high purity with simplification of the technological scheme and minimization of the generated wastes.
