FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to solvent-based protective coatings and sealants. Disclosed is a solvent-based surface coating composition containing the following, wt.pts: 9.7-11 “СЭБС” block polymer, 2.9–3.3 TiO2, 7.8–8.7 hydrogenated resin C5, 1.9–2.2 petroleum resin C9, 0.2 antioxidant, 0.2 light stabilizer, 19.4–22 microcalcite, 3.9–4.4 talc, 5–10 SiO2 nanoparticles, 5–10 ZnO nanoparticles, and balance up to 100 wt.pts. toluene, wherein SiO2 is nanoparticles with size of 20–30 nm, coated with a ligand – tetraethoxysilane, and ZnO – nanoparticles with size of 60–70 nm, coated with ligand – oleic acid.

EFFECT: increased service life and hydrophobicity of the coating, as well as improved environmental friendliness.
