FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of emulsifying compositions, which perform the function of surfactants used in the manufacture of emulsion explosives, used for drilling and blasting operations in open coal, mining and other open pits. Emulsifying composition for producing emulsion explosives contains polyisobutylene succinic anhydride or polyisobutylene amino ether. Additionally it contains industrial oil and sorbitan or glycerine esters of fatty acids of vegetable oils or distilled tall oil with addition of petroleum resin, namely betaprene or petrosin. Components are in the following ratio, wt %: polyisobutylene succinic anhydride or polyisobutylene amino ether—10–25, industrial oil—10–25, sorbitan or glycerine esters of fatty acids of vegetable oils or distilled tall oil with content of petroleum resin, namely betaprene or petrosin, from 1 to 5 wt %—50–80.

EFFECT: higher quality characteristics of emulsifier and possibility to adjust viscosity of emulsion, as well as expansion of raw material base for synthesis of emulsifying composition based on polyisobutylene succinic anhydride.
