FIELD: gas turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: in the annular combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine, containing the annular flame tubes installed concentrically to the longitudinal axis of the combustion chamber: external and internal with fuel-air nozzles on the nozzle plate, external flame tube is made with possibility of connection of cavity of flame tube with external annular gap between external flame tube and external housing of chamber. Fuel-air nozzles are installed on nozzle plate on ball hinges with possibility of their simultaneous inclination to longitudinal axis of combustion chamber. In the gas turbine engine annular combustion chamber operating mode adjustment method, which includes simultaneous supply of fuel and air into the flame tube cavity, simultaneously with change of angle of rotation of fuel-air nozzles on nozzle plate, specific fuel consumption is measured and installation of fuel-air nozzles is fixed in position of minimum specific fuel consumption.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency and reduced circumferential irregularity of temperature field at combustion chamber outlet.
