FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to clinical pharmacology and therapy of animals, and concerns a method of preventing diseases in animals caused by iron deficiency. Method for correction of iron deficiency anemia in sucking calves is characterized by the fact that from age of 5 days, a fodder additive containing a coniferous energy additive is introduced into the basic diet, linseed, fodder yeast and active carbon additive. Fodder additive is introduced in amount of 15.0 ml per head for 14 days without intervals by feeding with water in amount of 50–100 ml once a day.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to correct iron-deficiency anemia in sucking calves.
