METHOD OF GROWING SOYA AND PEAS FOR GRAIN Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A01G22/40 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of growing soya and peas for grain includes selection of a predecessor, tillage, sowing, care of crops and harvesting. Potatoes are used as precursor. Spring pre-sowing treatment of soil—harrowing is carried out in the first decade of May when soil moisture content reaches 70% HB. Before sowing, fertilizing is applied in the form of ammonium nitrate at rate of 0.5 centner/ha. At the same time, separate sowing of soya and peas seeds is carried out by a row method at depth of 5–6 cm, soya seeds with a seeding rate of 0.7 million pieces/ha, and peas with a seeding rate of 0.8 million pieces/ha. Two vegetative plants are treated with herbicides Fusilade Forte in dose of 1.0 l/ha or Zellek-Super in dose of 0.5 l/ha in phase of 1–2 true leaves. Weeds are additionally treated with working fluid at rate of 200 l/ha in phase of 3–5 true leaves.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain weed-free grains of soya and peas with minimum use of herbicides, while reducing crop losses and increasing crop productivity.
