SUBSTANCE: disclosed method of producing elastic shell with pile coating, which is used for flexible heat protection of gas ducts and sleeves of high-energy thermal machines. Method comprises fixing an elastic shell base on a mandrel, applying an adhesive layer on the elastic shell base; formation of pile tape, then obtained pile tape is moved by means of two parallel branches of transporting thread to rotating mandrel, is cut directly on the pile-forming element when coming off it and by one edge together with the transporting thread is wound on the surface of the elastic base of the shell, wherein the adhesive composition is simultaneously supplied to the elastic base of the casing at the point where the pile tape comes off, the pile tape is attached to the elastic base of the casing, wherein the mandrel is made in the form of a truncated cone, from the side of the small base of the mandrel, a dish-shaped forming skirt formed by a round surface and a conical surface is fixed coaxially on it, which forms with the outer surface of the elastic base of the shell an angle equal to the angle of orientation of the pile-forming threads in the formed elastic shell, after winding is completed, the transporting thread is removed from the pile coating to increase the elasticity of the shell in the tangential direction, as well as to improve the quality of the pile coating.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing an elastic shell with a pile coating.
