FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submarines, particularly, to nuclear submarines (NS) with combat missiles. Nuclear submarine comprises a strong hull, covering its light hull, tanks between these hulls, a strong cabin, aft end with a propeller installed on the main shaft connected to an electric motor, combat missiles and at least one nuclear reactor connected by water and steam lines to the main turbine generator, which is connected by electric cable to accumulator battery and to electric motors, and missiles in a rocket compartment in a strong housing. Rockets are installed with non-propellant components. Inside the strong housing there is a water electrolyser for decomposition of sea water into oxygen and hydrogen, for its filling into rockets.
EFFECT: reduced weight of nuclear submarine in standby mode.
