FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used in devices for self-regulating balancing of currents and voltages for a three-phase electrical network when an asymmetrical three-phase load with varying power is connected to it. A shunt-balancing device for a 3-phase electrical network with a neutral wire contains a three-phase electromagnetic device with steel cores placed in coils mounted on the base. The windings are connected in a counter-zigzag pattern, having three phase terminals and one neutral. Each phase terminal is designed to connect to the phase wires of the network, and the neutral one to the neutral wire. In addition, it is equipped with three capacitor banks, the terminals of each of which are connected respectively between the phase and neutral terminals of the electromagnetic device. The cores are formed into one block by means of a jumper fixed to the upper end parts of the cores, and each of them is installed in a corresponding coil with the possibility of its axial movement. In this case, the said block is equipped with three extension springs, the axial lines of which coincide with the axes of the corresponding cores. One end of each spring is rigidly connected to the body, and the other to a jumper.
EFFECT: reducing power losses and improving the quality of electrical energy by compensating the zero-sequence current in a three-phase network with a neutral wire due to self-regulation of inductance when the zero-sequence current changes.
