FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a design of a sliding control nozzle of a rocket engine, in which, when creating a control torque, the sliding friction component in the control force of the steering drive is significantly reduced. To reduce friction, it is proposed to use a flat roller support with an intermediate movable frame 4 and a sealing flat thin-layer rubber-metal element 3, which cover movable part of nozzle 2 and provide rolling of support rollers 5 at its radial shift relative to rocket axis practically without slippage. To synchronize rolling of rollers 5, gears rigidly connected to them are used and toothed racks 7 arranged symmetrically relative to gears on shifted surfaces. Each toothed gear of the roller is engaged simultaneously with two toothed racks 7 located opposite each other on shifted parts.
EFFECT: invention can be used in development of control nozzles of rocket engines.
