FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of dimethyl 5-(1H-indol-3-yl)-4-phenyl-1-(4-tolyl)-1H-pyrrole-2,3-dicarboxylate as an optical chemical sensor for detecting nitroaromatic explosives substances (ES). This invention can be used in security systems in addition to to service dogs in order to avoid terrorist acts as a means of detecting explosives in the composition of sensor material of fluorescent explosives detectors, as well as in everyday life and agriculture.
EFFECT: use of dimethyl 5-(1H-indol-3-yl)-4-phenyl-1-(4-tolyl)-1H-pyrrole-2,3-dicarboxylate as an optical chemical sensor of the turn-off type, operating by quenching emission in the presence of trace amounts of nitro-explosives in the solution.
