FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in development of wing layouts of light aircraft, as well as wings of light transport aircraft with short takeoff and landing (STL) distances. Wing of a light aircraft is characterized by the fact that it is made with a high-bearing root aerodynamic profile with a maximum relative thickness of c̄=16% of the chord and high-bearing end aerodynamic profile with maximum relative thickness c̄=14% of chord with given values of geometric parameters of root and end aerodynamic profiles.
EFFECT: task of creating a wing of a light aircraft is to increase the coefficient of maximum lift, aerodynamic quality of the wing in the climb mode and maintaining moderate values of drag coefficients and pitch moment in cruising flight.
