FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining and petrochemistry, particularly to antiknock additives used in production of high-octane gasolines. Invention relates to an antiknock component for motor fuels, consisting of methyl-tert-butyl ether, isobutyl alcohol, methanol and pyrocondensate in the following ratio of components, wt.%: methyl-tert-butyl ether 6–7, isobutyl alcohol 15–20, methanol 60–70, pyrocondensate 9–13.
EFFECT: improved antiknock properties of motor fuel, reduced fuel consumption, reduced toxicity, longer service life of the engine.
