FIELD: gas turbine engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine engine building and, in particular, to designs of combustion chambers of gas turbine engines used to drive an electric generator or a supercharger of a gas compressor unit operating on two types of liquid and gaseous fuel. Dual-fuel combustion chamber comprises housing, fire tube with inner and outer walls. Ring-shaped plate with injector modules installed on it and main fuel manifold connected to the plate, the cavity of which is connected by fuel channels to injectors. It has two main fuel manifolds; the injector has a central liquid fuel supply channel and a channel with a side supply of gaseous fuel. On the housing there are two igniters, one operates on gaseous fuel, the second one – on diesel fuel, the plate of the flame tube contains two separate fuel cavities, injectors in the plate are arranged in a staggered order.
EFFECT: invention allows providing ignition of the combustion chamber with the help of liquid and gaseous types of fuel, switching from liquid to gas fuel and vice versa without re-installation of injectors and re-equipment of the fuel system, reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides.
