FIELD: ultrasonic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasonic equipment, namely to piezoceramic transducers. Ultrasonic piezoceramic transducer comprises packages of piezoceramic plates with a metal insert between them, two frequency-reducing straps fixed at both ends of the metal insert by means of a connecting element between them, all together making up the total length of said converter. Total length of said transducer is selected equal to wavelength of operating frequency of ultrasonic vibrations. Maximum diameter of the metal insert does not exceed one third of the wavelength of its operating frequency. Metal insert and one frequency-reducing strap are made from high-density material. Another frequency-reducing strap is made from metal with lower density. In the embodiment, the connecting element is a pin with a thread on both ends and a smooth rod, wherein a nut made of lower-density material is fitted at the end of the pin to tighten the entire package of components that make up the transducer. Diameter of the smooth rod of pin is (0.5…0.9) of the outer diameter of the thread, wherein said rod of the pin is thermally treated in its central part at length L of (0.5…0.9) of outer diameter of thread.
EFFECT: invention can be used both in designing new acoustic systems and in existing equipment based on piezoceramic transducers.
