FIELD: shooting devices.

SUBSTANCE: essence of the device consists in the fact that the scaled target comprises a scoring circuit in the form of a second target reduced in proportion to the reduction of the firing range with the location of the middle point of impact at that point of the scoring circuit, where it is located on the full target at the range from which the target is scaled. Essence of the method consists in the fact that on the test loop from the aiming point a control point (CP) of the test loop is marked; target and valid contour are reduced in proportion to reduction of range; from the aiming point of the target on exceeding the trajectory of the sight above the aiming line at a distance to which the target is scaled, marking the CP of the target; scoring contour and target are placed with coincidence of their CP. Application of said target consists in the fact that the shooter at the range to which the target has been scaled, sees a reduced target in the same angular dimensions as a full-size target at a distance from which the target was scaled, and employs a sight and an aiming point for a full-size target at a range from which the target is scaled.

EFFECT: possibility of reliable determination of hits and misses of bullets during firing.
