FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in sorghum cultivation. Method of increasing crop capacity of sorghum plant involves treatment with 4,6-dimethyl-2-chloro-3-[5-(2-nitrophenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazolyl-3]pyridine in amount of 30 g/ha in phases of tillering and heading.
EFFECT: proposed method of sorghum yield increase extends the range of agents regulating sorghum plants growth, promotes increase of plants height, panicle length and grain weight per panicle.
