FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: paracord relates to cords and is used in tourism, military-industrial complex, as well as rigging, for attachment of awnings, tents, evacuation of the wounded, in parachute structures, and for art, accessories, clothes and shoes, including for extreme operating conditions. Paracord consists of a braid and a core, wherein the braiding is made by weaving of thirty-two strands of threads, the core is made of seven twisted two-strand threads, wherein core strands are formed by twisting in direction (S) of the thread with twisting index per meter of at least 320.
EFFECT: core threads are heat-treated to increase the breaking load of the paracord, increase the abrasion strength, and increase the knotting coefficient.
