FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of controlling small arms with an electronic firing system, control signals from an external source are transmitted to a control unit, which generates operating signals synchronously to the moments of occurrence of vibrations accompanying the process of firing a shot, supplies them to the electromechanical drive actuating the trigger mechanism, a shot is fired, wherein the control unit changes the frequency and duty ratio of working signals according to data coming from the position sensor of the movable part of the electromechanical drive and/or from the temperature sensor of the electromechanical drive, necessary to hold the movable part of the electromechanical drive in the working position, in case of single actuation control signals, the control unit stops supplying the working signal to the electromechanical drive after receiving the signal from the position sensor of the movable part of the drive.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of operational characteristics of small arms with electronic firing system, including in difficult climatic conditions, namely at exposure to high humidity and low temperature, dust exposure.
