FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for precision measurements of relative phase difference and can be used in measuring devices and calibrators of phases for reference units of time and frequency, in quantum hydrogen generators and quantum discriminators of frequency standards. Digital phase shifter consists of series-connected ADC, demultiplexer, RAM, register, (n-1) channels, consisting of subtractors, code dividers, digital logic switches, adders, a multiplexer and a register, connected in series, as well as a frequency counter-periodometer, a reference oscillator and a control logic unit, wherein the second inputs of the first adders are connected to the corresponding outputs of the register, (n-1) channels, the adders are connected by their outputs to the second inputs of the following ones, and the last adders are connected to the corresponding inputs of the multiplexer. A clock signal from a pulse generator is sent to the clock inputs of the ADC, registers and the frequency counter-periodometer, and control codes are sent through a control logic unit to the demultiplexer, RAM, multiplexer and digital logic switches.
EFFECT: high accuracy of setting phase difference in a wide frequency range.
