FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: forward converter of constant voltage with transfer of energy in pause relates to electrical engineering and can be used in secondary power supply systems for conversion, regulation and stabilization of constant output voltage, galvanically separated from input constant voltage and reduction of dynamic losses. Device comprises transformer 2, the beginning of primary winding 1 of which is connected to the positive pole of the input constant voltage source, and the end of primary winding 1 is connected through series-connected capacitor 3 and through the first power control key 4 to the negative pole of the input constant voltage source, which forms a common bus. Second power control key 5 is connected in parallel to primary winding 1 of transformer 2 with series-connected capacitor 3. End of secondary winding 6 of transformer 2 is connected to the anode of rectifying diode 7, the cathode of which is connected to one of the outputs of capacitor 8, the second output of which is connected to the beginning of winding 6. Load 9 is connected in parallel to capacitor 8.
EFFECT: generation of constant output voltage from constant input voltage, elimination of smoothing L-shaped LC-filter and reduction of dynamic losses.
